Niekes Tag

This lesson is written in PSP 8

but can also be made in PSP 7 or PSP 9.

 

This tag is dedicated to Niekes

she is a very good mailfriend of mine.

 

 

What do we need to make this tag:

 

*Tube or mine.

*Border or mine.

*PlugIn VM Distortion.

*Mask.

*Font HighNoon.

 

**Here we go**

 

*Open your tube and press 1 x shift D for copy.

*Close the original tube.  

*Open a new Image 500 x 500.

*Choose 2 colors from the tube -> light one for foreground

dark one for background.

*Put your background on gradient

with the following settings

*Fill your empty image with it.

*Layers -> Load Mask -> Load from disk

*Search for the mask 10e_slat_mask 

with the following settings

*Mask delete -> press yes at the question.  

*Layers -> Merge Group.

*Call that layer 1and put the opacity at 70.

*Layers -> New rasterlayer -> call it layer 2.

*Fill this layer with the gradient -> same settings.

*Put the opacity from layer 2 at 50.

*Layers -> New rasterlayer -> call it layer 3.

*Fill this layer again with the gradient.

*Effects -> PlugIns -> VM Distortion -> Tumbler

with the following settings

*Put the opacity at 30.

*Layers -> Arrange -> Send to bottom.

*Go to layer 2.

*Copy your tube and paste it as a new layer in your image.

*Put the tube a bit down or up

so your name can stand at the top or bottom.

*Layers -> Merge -> All layers merge.

*Image -> Add borders -> 10 px.

*Fill the border with the backgroundcolor ->

put your gradient off.

*Effects -> PlugIns -> VM Distortion -> Radial Pox

with the following settings

*Selectiions -> Select None.

*Image -> Add borders -> 6 px.

*Fill the border with your foregroundcolor.

*Selections -> Select None.

*Image -> Add borders -> 20 px.

*Fill this border with your backgroundcolor.

*Effects -> PlugIns -> VM Distortion -> Center Mirror

with the following settings

*Effects -> 3D Effects -> Inner Bevel

with the following settings

*Selections -> Select None.

*Open your bordertube.

*Copy and paste it as a new layer in your image.

*Duplicate this layer 3 times.

*Give your layers a number. 1 2 3 did I do.

*1 = Image -> Flip.

*2 = Image -> Mirror.

*3 = Image -> Rotate -> 180.

*Layers -> Merge -> All layers merge.

*Go to your texttool and search for the font HighNoon

with the following settings

*Put your name on it's place and give it a dropshadow.

*Image -> Resize -> 400 x 400 px.

*Adjust -> Scharpen -> Sharpen.

*Save your image as a jpg

and your tag is ready.
